Boyd R. Boudreaux serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of JD Bank, a position he has held since 2010 when he took over for Dan L. Donald, Jr., who is the current JD Bank Chairman of the Board. Mr. Boudreaux is responsible for leading all aspects of the strategic growth, development and services for JD Bank and is dedicated to improving the financial lives for the people, companies of all sizes and institutions that the bank serves across Louisiana and the nation.
During his career Mr. Boudreaux has worked in almost every area of banking, including as a teller, customer service representative, marketing director and loan officer. He has held several senior operating positions, including Chief Lending Officer, Chief Operating Officer and President & CEO. He started his banking career in the mailroom and as a loan collections clerk after graduating from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana-Lafayette) in 1978.
Mr. Boudreaux worked in the Lafayette market from 1978 until 1995, including positions with LBA Savings Bank and Iberia Bank. In 1995 he was transferred to New Orleans and served as President & CEO of Jefferson Bank. After that institution merged into Iberia Bank, Boudreaux became Executive Vice President-Chief Lending Officer of Fidelity Bank in New Orleans. In 2003, he became President & CEO of Fidelity Bank, where he remained until joining JD Bank in 2010.
A graduate of Carencro High School, Mr. Boudreaux has been active in many civic and professional associations throughout his career, including serving as Chairman of the Louisiana Bankers Association from 2009-10.
