Positive Pay

Here's how it works:

• When you issue a batch of checks to your accounting program, a profile for each check is created with the date, amount, payee and account on which the check is drawn.
• Those records are exported from your accounting program and imported to Positive Pay.
• As checks are deposited and reach us for posting, we compare the details for each check to those you provided when they were issued.
• If the system finds discrepancies, it flags those checks and places them in the Positive Pay “Exception” list for you to review.
• You can then determine whether a check should be paid or rejected.
