JD Bank Announces Inaugural Advisory Council to Enhance Financial Services in Baton Rouge and the Northshore

The JD Bank Advisory Council comprises a diverse group of influential leaders, experts, and stakeholders from various sectors, including finance, business, education, and real estate development. Their collective expertise and insights will provide strategic guidance and invaluable perspectives to JD Bank as it continues to innovate and expand its range of financial services and community outreach initiatives in southeastern Louisiana.

Ryan Bodin – Mandeville- Ryan owns several real estate holding companies across the southeast US and currently owns over 1 million square feet of large retail space with National and regional tenants. He has been in real estate investing for over 15 years and has had nearly 2000 rental properties.  

Jeff Breland – Slidell -Jeff Breland, Associate Broker of CENTURY 21 Investment Realty;  Licensed for 30+ years in the States of Louisiana and Mississippi; Consistently #1 Producer in E. St. Tammany for Residential/Commercial Sales & Leasing; Also owner of Planet Storage, a 100,000 sf Self Storage facility, and partner in Mid-South Developers, a land development Company .

Carrie H. Calvin. CPA – Slidell – Carrie H. Calvin, CPA, is a Director of Accounting and Auditing Services and manager of the Northshore practice for Bourgeois Bennett, LLC. She is a member of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Her industry specializations include healthcare, retail and maritime, manufacturing, insurance agencies and employee benefit plans.

Preston Castille, Jr., Esq. – Baton Rouge – Preston Castille is the president and CEO of Helix Community Schools, a network of elementary and secondary schools in South Louisiana. The Helix network includes Helix Mentorship STEAM Academy, Helix Aviation Academy, and Helix Legal Academy. Preston is an elected member of the Louisiana Board of Elementary & Secondary Education (BESE) and is the current chair of the School Innovation and Turnaround Committee. Preston is a Southern University Law Center adjunct law professor and a former LSU Law School adjunct law professor. Preston retired as a partner and Executive Committee member of the Taylor Porter law firm in 2020, after 25 years of practice with the firm and now owns a small law firm.

Bobby DeAngelo – Baton Rouge – DeAngelo began his career in 1981, working in the industrial pipe valve fitting business for Modern Valve, a Baton Rouge based company. In 1988 he joined Louisiana Chemical Equipment and started a PVF division, which he purchased in 1996. He is currently active in the industrial real estate business. 

Paige Hall – Zachary – Hall is the Co-Owner of Solo Property Management, LLC, Solomon of Zachary, LLC, Duke Rentals of Zachary, LLC, Domino Properties, LLC and Truman Rentals, LLC. She has thirty-six years of experience purchasing investment residential & multi-family properties.
