Both are longtime Eunice residents and are established in facilitating lending transactions for individuals and businesses in the region.

Fontenot served on the Eunice City Council for 12 years, representing Ward 3. She has also been heavily involved in the Eunice Recreation Program and St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

Ortego will assist the Branch Manager and the Consumer Loan Officers. She was a Mortgage Loan Processor and Closer for Tri-Parish Bank before joining JD Bank, among several responsibilities she held during her eight years at Tri-Parish. Ortego is a graduate of LSU-Eunice and an active member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

Barilleaux is an experienced marketing professional in Louisiana with a proven record of facilitating growth, building long-term relationships with customers and businesses and developing community outreach.

She arrives at JD Bank after serving as a Marketing Consultant for CenterPoint Energy in Lake Charles since 2013, where she managed and designed multiple commercial and residential client projects. Barilleaux represented CenterPoint in several parishes across southwest Louisiana, including participating in community events and local government functions.

Barilleaux’s experience also includes serving as the Vice President of Foundation and Leadership Development for SWLA Economic Development Alliance in Lake Charles from 2009 to 2013. Among other duties she managed the $4 million “SWLA On the Move” Capital Campaign from private and public investors and supervised the Leadership Southwest program.

Barilleaux also served as Director of Marketing and Volunteer Services for Women & Children’s Hospital in Lake Charles – serving as the hospital’s spokesperson, planning all events and coordinating the strategic business plan – and was the Special Projects Coordinator for CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital Foundation in Lake Charles, supervising all major fundraising events, campaigns and programs.

Community involvement has been a key component of Barilleaux’s professional career. In 2015, she was honored as the Court Appointed Special Advocate’s (CASA) Advisory Council Board Member of the Year. She has also served on the Board of Directors of several organizations and foundations, including The Family & Youth Counseling Agency, the Lake Charles Symphony, Junior Achievement of SWLA, Kid Power Southwest Louisiana, and served as President of the Junior League of Lake Charles from 2009-2010. Barilleaux was honored by CenterPoint Energy as the 2014 Volunteer of the Year for the Mississippi/Louisiana Region.

She is also a member of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry Emerging Leaders Council, a member of the Board of Directors – and Associate Vice President – of Home Builders of Southwest Louisiana, and a member of Chamber Southwest Board of Directors.

Barilleaux is a native of Lake Charles, graduated from Spring Hill College and has a Master of Business Administration from McNeese State University.

JENNINGS, La. – JD Bank is pleased to announce the hiring of Donovan Dominique as Accounts Receivable/Floor Plan Manager. Dominique has spent more than six years working in several banking capacities and will be located at the JD Bank Loan Services building in Lake Charles.

As Accounts Receivable/Floor Plan Manager, Dominique will be serving corporate clients of JD Bank in extending and maintaining lines of credit – including for titles of vehicles and inventory. Dominique will coordinate audits and monitor growth.

Dominique worked for JP Morgan Chase before joining JD Bank, with duties in the past that included home finance, consumer banking, client services, procurement and project management.

Dominique graduated from Grambling State University with a degree in business management. He was also a member of the school’s famed Tiger Marching Band as a trombone player. Dominique is a native of Lake Charles and graduated from LaGrange High School.
